Aware Parenting Instructor Mentoring
Deepen your practice, grow your reach, and feel supported in your work in this nurturing professional community with Rebecca Sheikh, Maru Rojas & Helena Mooney
Qualifying as an Aware Parenting Instructor can feel like you've made it!
You've done the training
You've done the personal work
Maybe you're now holding space for parents (or thinking about it)
And apart from quarterly community calls with Aletha and a newsletter, there isn’t much ongoing mentoring or relational holding once you qualify.
No regular place to bring the questions that arise when theory meets real families.
No space to say:
“A session has brought up some big feelings for me"
“I don't feel good enough to teach this.”
“How can I help when I'm having a hard time with my own kids?"
Many instructors don’t talk about this, but the work can feel lonely.
Maybe you're

About Us
Rebecca Sheikh

I'm Rebecca—mother, wife, daughter, a Level 2 Aware Parenting Instructor and UK, Ireland and Sub-Saharan Africa’s Regional Coordinator.
I'm also a Therapeutic Play Practitioner, Inner Child Journey Practitioner, SoulCollage® facilitator, Focussing practitioner and Sandplay therapist in training. I am the chair of the International Attachment Network.
I am passionate about supporting parents to trust their infinite wisdom through my Parenting from Within Process & improving relationships & transforming our lived experience to make our world a better place.
I took Rebecca's mentorship course to become an Aware Parenting coach last year and it has been such a wonderful experience.
On a personal level, I found that Rebecca created a truly safe space for everyone to come together and explore the philosophy of Aware Parenting, both within our own lives and professionally with the families we work with.
I learnt a lot about myself and the knowledge I have gained has also given me the confidence to step out into the world and launch my own business in the perinatal space.
If you have that feeling in your gut that you need to explore this further, Rebecca's mentorship is the perfect place to do so.

Maru Rojas

I’m an Aware Parenting Instructor and EC & potty learning consultant.
I’m originally from Mexico, have lived in the UK for 17 years, and I’m a parent to two spirited and highly-sensitive children. I’m deeply interested in de-conditioning from cultural parenting norms and returning to trust in children’s innate goodness and true nature.
My work centres our physiological needs, ancestral habits, and how stress and trauma are held and released through the body. I love exploring how all of this shows up in real parenting, real relationships, and real life.
Our sessions together gave me the time and space I needed to talk about, explor and listen to the ways Aware Parenting can support my child, but also myself.
I really felt held and supported, knowing we were all here for ourselves.
Maru was brilliant in creating and facilitating a safe space to explore and unpick the emotions that we sometimes aren't aware of or didn't quite know how to respond to. I finished the sessions knowing that we were doing the right thing for our family unit.

Helena Mooney

I’m an Aware Parenting Instructor, Hand in Hand Parenting Instructor and Doula, as well as mum to a 17 and 11 year old, both of whom have been Aware Parented since babies.
My approach is down-to-earth, playful and practical, and I am passionate about bringing this work to parents in a way that removes the pressure to be perfect and instead focuses on strengthening their relationship with their children, becoming more confident as parents, and having fun as a family.
Helena managed to unlock something within me. She created a safe and non-judgmental space, offering profound compassion and empathy. This skill of hers is truly remarkable.
Since beginning my journey with her, I have experienced remarkable progress in various aspects of my life. I have developed a deeper connection with both of my children, reevaluated my desires and aspirations, and gained a newfound awareness about many aspects of my life. The growth I have witnessed has been nothing short of remarkable." (Sam, Australia)
